In a candid interview, Kaley Cuoco, star of The Big Bang Theory, talked about one of her worst blunders to date.
Although Kaley Cuoco rarely makes a mistake when it comes to fashion, the actress has acknowledged that she is still troubled by a specific red carpet error.
The 38-year-old actress from Big Bang Theory talked candidly with People about her worst fashion error, calling it the “worst thing I’ve ever done.”
When Cuoco was getting ready for the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards, she decided to wear a wig, and she believed she “looked cute.” However, after seeing press images from the event, Cuoco realized that was not the case.

Well, it’s quite a large one. This remains, in my opinion, the worst thing I have ever done. Cuoco said, “I added a hairpiece, but it was bangs.”
I think to myself, ‘That was the worst decision I have ever made,’ as I look at the images.
It just wasn’t effective. It appeared extremely phony.
She regrets more than just the blonde wig, though.
Before season 8 of The Big Bang Theory began production, the Emmy nominated famously had a pixie cut. She also gave up her trademark long, curly hair for the popular sitcom in which she portrayed Penny, an aspiring actress.
In the book The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series, published in 2022, she called it the “worst decision.”
Cuoco claimed that getting the haircut was a decision she made for both personal and professional reasons because her role in the drama picture Burning Bodhi (2015) required her to have short hair.
“Well, I did that for [the movie], so that was my justification for cutting it. Something needed to change at that moment, she said, as The Big Bang Theory was about to enter its seventh season.
The funny thing is, even though I loved the hair and makeup team, I felt that by cutting my hair, I would spend less time in the chair because I was bored and tired of the hair.
“I hated going in and getting ready, so I thought I was cutting off all this time.” That explains why I spent so much of Seasons 6 and 7 with my hair up. I then chopped it, but because it was difficult to style, it ended up requiring additional work.”
The actress, who currently sports a dark blonde hairstyle, welcomed her first child, Matilda, with Ozark actor Tom Pelphrey recently.
The couple announced the birth of their child in March of last year, having started dating in May.
“Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light in our lives, please introduce herself!” At the moment, Cuoco posted on Instagram.
“We are extremely happy and appreciative of this small miracle.”
Cuoco and Karl Cook were wed for three years before to their abrupt divorce in 2021.
