Tom Pelphrey and Kaley Cuoco have welcomed a new puppy into their household!
The 37-year-old Meet Cute actress revealed on Saturday that she and her boyfriend had adopted a senior puppy that they named Red.
The information was revealed via an Instagram Story that included the cute puppy posing with his tongue hanging out and the words, “I guess he’s staying.”

The adorable dog was seen posing with his ears perked up in the picture, a small bandana with what looked to be cartoon creatures on it around his neck.
The actress shared pictures of herself and her new companion cuddling together on the couch, the dog hanging out with Pelphrey, and Cuoco staring at him when he was looking away in addition to the cute picture of her new dog.
Kaley Cuoco posted on her Instagram Story, “Thank you @jenconf & @lizrizomakeup for trying to find this senior chi a home the last few months.” “I guess he found one LOL.”

Cuoco tagged makeup artist Liz Rizo, who had been tweeting about the dog, named Red, since July. She had shared fundraising for his dental work and shared a little piece of Red’s backstory.
In a September Rizo video that included a montage of the dog’s footage and Cuoco’s Instagram Story posts, the actress wrote in an earlier Story that people were “desperately trying to home” the dog after it was “found wandering” about Los Angeles.
“We are taking care of his teeth and I will take care of first home package and another initial vet treatments treatments if he needs,” Cuoco stated at the time. “PLEASE DM Liz if interested in this love!”
Given that Rizo posted on Instagram over the weekend claiming that Red had found his “forever home” with Cuoco and Pelphrey, it appears that Cuoco herself was drawn to the puppy.
She responded to them, “Thank you for opening your hearts and home.”

After launching her pet care line Oh, Norman!, Cuoco—who already has a number of puppies of her own—spoke to PEOPLE last month about her decision and how her 7-month-old daughter Matilda has been adjusting to her (then) four rescue dogs, Ruby, Opal, King, and Blue.
“Oh my God, she got thrown to the wolves literally,” added Cuoco.
“I thought, ‘If this child doesn’t like dogs, I might have to send her back,'” after she was born. There isn’t an option. You live this existence. That’s it, she said. “They’ve already attacked her. They have slithered all over her. We’ve allowed them to kiss and lick her. Our pediatrician said, “It’s alright.” Thus, people adore her greatly.”
Following her time spent with four dogs, her recent flight with her mother, an aquarium exploration, and education on all things Halloween this year, it appears that Matilda will have even more fun ahead of her with the family’s newest four-legged member.
