“The Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco addressed W Magazine about the change of her character, Penny, following the long term.
Kaley featured in the sitcom about socially awkward geeks for each of its 12 seasons along with Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki. The series starts with Penny getting into an appartment across the corridor to two physicists Sheldon and Leonard and building a friendship with them and their companions.
While toward the starting Penny’s primary reason on the show was the “cute girl” with whom every nerd attempted to flirt awkwardly. She eventually became a more developed character receiving her own friendship group with Bernadette and Amy.
“I began ‘The Big Bang at 21 years of age,” She started. “I was the cute girl next door to the nerds. Everything revolved around booty shorts, Juicy Couture zip-ups. Hence, as the years went on Penny grows up. Kaley grows up out of sudden it’s like, ‘Would I be able to have a long sleeve shirt? What about a slack? What about a loafer? I never want to see that high heel again!'”
The 35-year-old actress proceeded: “I had each shade of the Uggs with shorts, those were the days! I don’t think it was difficult to wear that stuff and be funny. Although, I loved being funny. It was somewhat self-expostulating.”
“And furthermore that was such a long time ago,” Kaley added. “At the point when I think how long before that was, it was a different time. Also, btw, at 21 I was hot. In addition, I needed to show that stuff off. You would not get me dead in any sexy cat costume now!
In June, Cuoco let The Hollywood Reporter know that she would have played Penny for “20 years”; if the show hadn’t finished in 2019.
After “The Big Bang Theory” Kaley was the star in two successful series,”Harley Quinn” and “The Flight Attendant.” As a maker and actor for “The Flight Attendant”; Kaley was assigned for two Primetime Emmys, two Screen Actor Guild Awards and a Golden Globe in 2021.
